The Ahtna Dene Language course will comprise twelve online sessions conducted biweekly over six weeks, with each session lasting one and one-half hours. This introductory course is designed to provide foundational knowledge of the Ahtna language. It will address key components of the language structure, offer guidance on utilizing the Ahtna Athabascan Dictionary, and present basic phrases pertinent to everyday communication in the Ahtna language. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants. Families registering two members are eligible for a special rate of $500.00 for both individuals.
The course is scheduled to commence on Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 2 to October 9, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.
